【摘要】:Applications8212;Ambientatmospherictemperaturemeasurementscanbemadeusingresistancethermometersformanypurposes.Theapplicationdeterminesthemostappropriatetypeofresistancethermometeranddatarecordingmethodtobeused.Examplesofthreetypicalmeteorologicalapplicationsfortemperaturemeasurementsfollow.Single-level,near-surfacemeasurementsforweatherobservations(1),thermodynamiccomputationsforindustrialapplications,orenvironmentalstudies(2).Temperaturedifferentialorverticalgradientmeasurementstocharacterizeatmosphericstabilityforatmosphericdispersionanalysesstudies(2).Temperaturefluctuationsforheatfluxortemperature,orvariancecomputations,orboth.Measurementsofheatfluxandtemperaturevariancerequirehighprecisionmeasurementswithafastresponsetochangesintheambientatmosphere.Purpose8212;Thispracticeisdesignedtoassisttheuserinselectinganappropriatetemperaturemeasurementsystemfortheintendedatmosphericapplication,andproperlyinstallingandoperatingthesystem.Themanufacturer''srecommendationsandtheU.S.EnvironmentalProtectionAgencyhandbookonqualityassuranceinmeteorologicalmeasurements(3)shouldbeconsultedforcalibrationandperformanceauditprocedures.1.1Thispracticeprovidesprocedurestomeasurerepresentativenear-surfaceatmospheric(outdoorair)temperatureformeteorologicalpurposesusingcommonlyavailableelectricalthermometershousedinradiationshieldsmountedonstationaryorportablemastsortowers.1.2Thispracticeisapplicableformeasurementsoverthetemperaturerangenormallyencounteredintheambientatmosphere,x2013;50to+50x00B0;C.1.3Airtemperaturemeasurementsystemsincludearadiationshield,resistancethermometer,signalcables,andassociatedelectronics.1.4Measurementscanbemadeatasinglelevelforvariousmeteorologicalpurposes,attwoormorelevelsforverticaltemperaturedifferences,andusingspecialequipment(atoneormorelevels)forfluctuationsoftemperaturewithtimeappliedtofluxorvariancemeasurements.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
