【摘要】:1.1Thispracticedescribesproceduresforhandlingandinstallingthermoplasticpipeandcorrugatedpipeinseptictankleachfields,curtaindrains,andfromtheseptictanktotheleachfield.Properinstallationensuresthatthepipewillsatisfactorilyconveyanddistributepartiallytreatedwastewatertoaleachingfieldforadditionaltreatmentanddisposalbysoilabsorption.Thecurtainorperimeterdrainwillfunctiontoprotectthesoilabsorptioncapacityoftheleachfield.1.2Toensurecompliancewithlocalregulatoryprovisions,thelocalapprovingauthority(localhealthdepartmentsandsoforth)shouldbecontactedregardingspecificrequirementsforleachfielddesignmaterialsandinstallation.1.3ThispracticeappliestopipeandfittingsmadeundereachofthefollowingASTMspecifications:1.3.1Fortransportfromtanktoleachfield:SpecificationsD2680,D2729,D2751,D2852,D3034,F405,F758,F789,F810,F891,F892,andF949.1.3.2Perforated,foruseinleachfieldorcurtaindrain:SpecificationsD2729,D2751,F405,F810,F891,andF892.1.4Pipeintendedforinstallationinaccordancewiththispracticeshouldhaveaminimumpipestiffnessasspecifiedintheappropriateproductstandardreferencedin1.3.1or1.3.2.1.5Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificprecautionarystatements,seeSection7.
